Low tuition at world-leading universities, but the highest living costs in Europe.
Why Switzerland
Swiss public universities charge remarkably low tuition given their global ranking. ETH Zurich sits in the world's top 10 for engineering and technology.
Swiss hospitality schools are the acknowledged world leaders, and they place graduates into hotel and hospitality groups internationally.
Tuition is low but Switzerland has the highest living costs in Europe, and it is not in the EU. For most Pakistani students, Germany delivers a better cost-to-outcome ratio. We will tell you so.
We show ranges, not single figures. Tuition varies by institution and course, and the PKR rate moves. Anyone quoting you one exact number is guessing. On your free consultation we give you a written breakdown for your exact course.
The real numbers
Bars are scaled against the largest figure on this page. Ranges, never single figures.
Genuinely low for the ranking
The highest living-cost requirement of any destination we handle

Pick a course level, set how many years you plan to study, and see what the whole thing lands at. It uses the same ranges published above, nothing hidden.
Course level
CHF 1,000 - 4,000 / year. Genuinely low for the ranking
What most students pay, 2 years
You can work 15 hours a week
So you actually need from home
PKR 9.6MFull published range, before earnings
The top of the range is medicine and the highest-ranked universities. Most students are nearer the bottom.
The catch: Read this carefully before choosing Switzerland. The pay is excellent but the hours are the most restricted of any destination here, and the six-month waiting period means you must fund your first half year entirely from home. Do not plan to work your way through Switzerland.
Gold is tuition. The rest is living costs.
Indicative only. This is not a quote. It adds the published tuition range to the evidenced living-cost figure, before scholarships, flights and the PKR rate on the day. Your written breakdown comes from the free consultation.

English requirement
IELTS 6.5 to 7.0 for English-taught programmes. Many public university courses are taught in German or French and require C1.

The visa is a process, not a lottery.
Swiss National Visa (Type D)
This page is general information, not immigration advice. Visa rules change. Confirm your circumstances with a registered migration agent before you rely on any of it.
After you graduate
A 6-month permit to seek work after graduating. Switzerland is not in the EU, so work rights are more restricted than in Germany or Finland.
This is the reason most students from Pakistan pick one country over another. It is worth getting right on the first attempt.

Questions
Only in specific cases. ETH Zurich, EPFL and the hospitality schools are world class. But living costs are the highest in Europe (about CHF 21,000 a year), Switzerland is not in the EU, post-study work rights are limited to 6 months, and part-time work is capped at 15 hours a week. For most students, Germany or Finland gives a better return. We would rather tell you that than sell you a course.
15 hours a week during term, and you generally cannot start work until 6 months after you arrive. Do not plan to fund your studies through part-time work here.
