Why Canada

What you actually get.

01

The PGWP can run up to 3 years

The Post-Graduation Work Permit gives you an open work permit for up to 3 years, which is the foundation of most PR applications from Canada.

02

Express Entry rewards Canadian study and work

Canadian credentials and Canadian work experience both add CRS points, so studying there materially improves your PR odds later.

03

The master's and college routes cost less than the degree

A Canadian master's averages about CAD 24,000 a year, genuinely less than undergraduate, and a PGWP-eligible public college diploma starts near CAD 14,000. Both are a real discount to a comparable US degree.

We show ranges, not single figures. Tuition varies by institution and course, and the PKR rate moves. Anyone quoting you one exact number is guessing. On your free consultation we give you a written breakdown for your exact course.

After you graduate

The Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) gives an open work permit for up to 3 years, depending on the length of your programme and whether your field is eligible.

This is the reason most students from Pakistan pick one country over another. It is worth getting right on the first attempt.

Questions

What students from Pakistan actually ask.

How much does it cost to study in Canada from Pakistan?

Undergraduate tuition runs CAD 25,000 to 50,000 a year, about PKR 5.0M to 10.0M, and a master's is genuinely cheaper at CAD 18,000 to 30,000. The national average international undergraduate fee is CAD 41,746, and Ontario alone averages close to CAD 50,000, so where you study matters more here than almost anywhere else. A public college diploma from CAD 16,000 is the lowest-cost route that still earns a PGWP. Living costs of CAD 22,895 sit on top of whichever you choose.

How much money do I need to show for a Canadian study permit?

Outside Quebec you must show CAD 22,895 for living costs for one year, roughly PKR 4.6M, on top of your first year's tuition and travel. This figure is reviewed annually.

What is a PAL and do I need one?

A Provincial Attestation Letter is issued by the province and is now required with most study permit applications. Your institution normally helps you obtain it. Without a PAL, most applications are returned.

Does studying in Canada help me get PR?

It helps. A Canadian credential and Canadian work experience both add CRS points under Express Entry. It is not automatic, and rules change, so treat it as a strong pathway rather than a guarantee.

Can I work while studying in Canada?

Study permit holders can normally work off campus during term, subject to the current hourly cap, and full time during scheduled breaks. The cap has changed several times recently, so confirm the rule that applies when you arrive.
